If you love So You Think You Can Dance?, then you should know that Jamile McGee (Season 1) teaches hip hop at Joy of Motion Dance Center. If that’s not enough for you, check out Jamz Dance Center’s So You Think You Can Jamz Summer Intensive June 27th-July 1st, 2011 in Pasadena, MD. Training with Billy Bell (Season 7), Comfort Fedoke (Seasons 4 and 7), Katee Shean (Season 4), Melissa Sandvig (Season 4) and Brandon Bryant (Season 5) doesn’t come cheap ($449 for the week), but is a pretty decent price with over 35 hours of master class instruction. Best experience ever for all who attended!!! Although Billy couldn’t make it the replacement was a twofer!!! Kupono and Ashley Galvin. The energy, excitement and instruction was beyond compare, this event was something I would easily travel to NYC or LA for, but didn’t have too as it was in my own back yard!!! JAMZ has many master classes w/SYTYCD alumni…Jamile taught at Jamz in 2008 the first year they were open. tWitch has been there twice to teach Master Classes, and Brandon Bryant has taught Hip Hop and contemporary there as well as choreographed for the comp team!!! Fantastic opportunities and exposure for the dancers at JAMZ!!!
